How it works

From idea to a running agency.

Pick a niche you already understand, launch your agency brand and offer, and land clients. 1st Episode produces every episode behind the scenes.

01

Pick your niche

AI-guided discovery works from your background, interests and connections to name the market your agency should own.

  • Guided niche discovery
  • Built on who you already know
  • Positioning you can defend
02

Build your agency brand

Name, positioning, logo and messaging generated for that niche — all of it yours to edit and keep.

  • Agency name and positioning
  • Logo and brand colors
  • Messaging written for your market
03

Launch your site and booking

A public agency page goes live with your offer, lead capture and a booking link, so prospects can hire you in a click.

  • Public agency page
  • Lead capture built in
  • Booking link for discovery calls
04

Land your first client

You sell one thing: a monthly show for a business in your niche. Use the pitch, packaging and retainer pricing frameworks — with coaching while you're actually doing it.

  • Pitch and outreach material
  • Packages and retainer pricing
  • Live coaching along the way
05

We produce the show

Record in the browser or upload the footage. The platform returns the edited episode, clips and shorts, captions, thumbnails and show notes.

  • Browser recording or upload
  • Clips & shorts with burned-in captions
  • Thumbnails, show notes, publishing
06

Deliver monthly and grow

Retainers renew, results stack up, and you add the next account without hiring a production team.

  • Monthly recurring delivery
  • Results your clients can see
  • Add accounts, not headcount

Questions

What am I actually selling?

Podcast production as a service. Your clients get a produced show — episodes, clips, shorts, captions, thumbnails and show notes — usually on a monthly retainer you price yourself.

Do I need podcast experience?

No. You bring a niche you understand and the relationships that come with it. The platform and the coaching cover the production and the launch path.

Who does the editing?

1st Episode does. Once a recording ends, the platform builds the episode edit, clips and shorts, captions, thumbnails and show notes automatically — you review and approve.

What do I charge clients?

You set your own pricing and own the client relationship. The platform gives you packages, retainer structures and pricing frameworks to start from.

How do clients get recorded?

Record in the browser with remote guests, record locally with real-time upload, book a room through 1st Episode Spaces, or upload footage your client already has.

What's included for $500 a month?

Access to the whole agency infrastructure: coaching and the launch path, your agency brand and public site, client acquisition tools, and the production platform with included episode production. Heavy usage beyond that draws on credits.
